[snip] Caldera was required by the original terms of the agreement governing the port to sell only to those who would be running WordPerfect on a Caldera system. Caldera _HAD_ to check; many resellers didn't bother, and WP was sold, installed, and used on a variety of Linux distributions. Apparantly the success & relative lack of support problems has caused Corel to agree to more "normal" marketing of WordPerfect for Linux. If you check out <http://www.sdcorp.com/> you'll find information on the upcoming WordPerfect v7.0 for Linux, which apparantly will be sold without restriction.
