I'm new to FreeBSD (but not completely new to UNIX in general) and am looking for any resources on the web that might have some common tips/tricks/answers/whatnot appart from the one run by the makers themselves. More specifically, I'm trying to figure out the following things right now... a) How do I map my caps-lock key to control, and my alt key to meta at the terminal, so it's that way both in the shell and in X. b) How do I change to a higher video mode in the terminal.. This standard 40xwhatever is getting old pretty quick. Also, are there any more archives for FreeBSD software than what is available at CDROM? Or is cdrom.com generally the alrgest archive? Thanks alot.. -Nicolas Pottier
