It's similar enough to FBSD, at least on the newbie level. Linux users IMO are more inclined to be of real help and more tolerant of the "hobby"/non guru type users. (no flames please, just my own experience.) For every reply to a message you get in this NG, you'll get 5 in a Linux NG.
