The talk daemon on the remote machine does a gethostbyaddr on the IP adress
of the caller machine. If it does not get a valid hostname it sends
a "MACHINE_UNKNOWN" to the client. It seems that your host is neither
known by a nameserver nor is it part of /etc/hosts.
