Running 2.2.1-RELEASE Install client was a P5-133 w/ IDE, 3c590. After starting to fetch bin, the install program would hang about 10% in. It did so repeatedly at the same spot. The machine was still pingable, numlock still worked, but alt-Fx did nothing, and it stopped fetching any data. Using (nonanonymous) ftp and a symlink worked just fine. NFS mounting the cd on the freshly installed system and doing a find cp {} /dev/null worked just fine. There was no indication of any failure or problem on the server side. ??? -- Nick Sayer http://www.kfu.com/~nsayer/ | "But master, does not the fire nsayer [at] quack [dot] kfu [dot] com | need water too?
