My pppd server works quite well until someone try to connect from W95
with "crypted password needed" selected.
He doesn't established link of course. On server side pppd process
shows error: "ppp0: no carrier" but stays living in spite of CD off.
The only way to activate the modem is to kill -9 pppd.

Software used:
FreeBSD 2.2.1, mgetty 1.1.5 (autoPPP - for PPP recognition)
Hardware used:
Cyclades Cyclom 16y
