What we would like to do is utilize multiple 4G HDs and perhaps a 4 or 12k stripe to 'load-balance' access over multiple spindles as well as have one large news partition versus several little disks mounted at various points. My question is that I have read the manual and the BSDI home page and nothing is mentioned about it, so I'm assuming that it is not natively supported. If it is great -- tell me how. If not, is there a commercial product out there that would allow us to accomplish this under BSDI? Thanks in advance. -- Robert Sink - Systems Administrator Chesapeake Biological Laboratory - Solomons, MD. [o] 410/326-7306
