Another option is to use "NetAtalk", a set of kernal patches that implement an
Appletalk server on a Unix platform. CAP is user-level code and so is more
portable, but gives lower performance. I understand that NetAtalk is now a
kernel config option in FreeBSD v2.2.1 (I have NetAtalk running on version
2.1.0R, and there were some limitations that may or may not exist in the
current release).
