I'd like to dip a toe in the (free)BSD filesystem waters.

So far, I've got the freeBSD kernel source and a couple of articles
off the net.

Does anyone know of any informative and fairly thorough decriptions
of the BSD kernel filesystem interface (specifications of parameters
and return values for functions like vn_readdir, vn_symlink, etc.),
ideally in a tutorial form, printed or downlodable?

many thanks
