Yes, it is a record and one which made me finally stop and think long enough to realize that -current really just isn't ready to make fully-installable releases out of yet, and all 3.0-SNAPs in progress are hereby cancelled until further notice. It's just not worth the trouble right now and I'm going to go back and focus on the 2.2 branch for awhile, preparing it for the next early summer release on that branch. In the interim, the folks who are busily at work in -current can continue to make their radical changes to support some of our new ambitions (SMP, ALPHA support, etc) without having me whining at them about how I can't roll release bits from a rapidly moving target. [I mean, like DUH! :)] Oh, and to answer your other question, yes - the SNAP CD customers are on the 3.0 branch now and will get their next CDs when 3.0 matures enough to make a SNAP practical. -- - Jordan Hubbard FreeBSD core team / Walnut Creek CDROM.
