It seems to work fine, except I still get interrupt rates > 1000/sec as I did when using a DigiBoard C1 with a 16650 device. Is the buffer enabled on the ESP card by the FreeBSD driver? Since I don't have programming info on the Hayes card, I can't really tell. Also, where can one get a tech reference on the ESP board??? BTW, it's a version 2.5 ESP board. Rick
