since i use similar setup too, you might be interested the price in
finland too... i have 4 wire conn.

the line costs me around 200 fmk per month, current rate is probably
around 1 ukp = 7,8 fmk, and $1 = 5,1 fmk. (fmk = finnish mark)

i use patton serial line boxes on my line, 57600, line is bit too long
for 115200, but i can upgrade to faster speeds without being in need to
pay more. i have my eyes on sync/eth boxes my pal tries to make, those
being 512k capable.
