Hi.

I've tried both Andrew Chernov's and Bruce Evans' patches for the
'happy new year' problem where the date was repeated - i.e., on
Jan 1 93, 386bsd reports the date as 12/31/92.

I don't experience the problem as such. On my 386bsd, I get two
Jan 1 dates - on Jan 2 (today), 386bsd reports the date as Jan 1.

Bruce says it might be because of timezone differences, nevertheless,
I've tried both patches, and neither works for me. With the patch
installed (doesn't matter which one), the date returned is 'Mon Jan 6';
clearly incorrect.

 If it helps, I can post my clock.c.
