You'll need to ask a more specific question than that. If you want to connect to the 'net from the FreeBSD box and have 'net access from both machines, then yes, you can share a modem. You need to create yourself a small LAN (using PLIP/SLIP/PPP/ethernet), configure your FreeBSD box as a gateway and use either "ppp -auto" or ppp & natd on the FreeBSD box to masquerade the Win box connections. > Thanks > > > ----- > Nigel Gorry - Innisfail, Queensland, Australia http://www.palms.nq.net > System Administrator - Zed.Net, Radio 4KZ & Kool-FM http://www.4kz.com.au -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.org> <brian@freebsd.org> <http://www.awfulhak.org> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour !
