I *believe* you get to specify the first CD that you want delivered when you subscribe via the cdrom.com web page. Have a browse. Once you have a copy, you can give it to whomever you want. In fact this is encouraged ! However, given the price, it's probably worth getting a copy each (or even cutting copy disks if you have the facility). The only thing that the FreeBSD copyright restricts you on is removing the copyright notice !
