The setup command for XFree is either XF86Setup or xf86cfonfig I like xf86config a little better since I can specify exactly my monitor refresh rates. Also check your video card to see if it is supprted. I have to run the XFree 3.2A beta for my card (Diamond Stealth 3D 3000) but it works great. Good luck Robert
