XFree is (as all UNIX) case sensative.  The setup command for XFree is
either
XF86Setup or xf86cfonfig  I like xf86config a little better since I can
specify exactly my monitor refresh rates.  Also check your video card to
see if it is supprted.  I have to run the XFree 3.2A beta for my card
(Diamond Stealth 3D 3000) but it works great.
