I compiled bash 2.0, installed it and it is running fine if I envoke it from the command line. But when I log in, I am still getting csh. Here's the passwd line: dan:*:1001:0:dan:/home/dan:/bin/bash bash *IS* installed in /bin and it *DOES* execute normally from the command line. What am I missing? Thanks! _______________________________________________________________________ | Daniel Walton <dan@okdirect.com> | OK Direct Internet Services, Inc. | | http://www.optichat.com | http://www.okdirect.com | |-'`ŻŻ`'-.,__,.-'`ŻŻ`'-.,__,.-'`ŻŻ`'-.,__,.-'`ŻŻ`'-.,__,.-'`ŻŻ`'-.,__,.-| | CGI Programming Web Chat Domain Name Hosting | ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
