I just reinstalled Free BSD 2.2.1 through the FTP install. My problem is
this if I start a PPP session on tty02 or tty03 I can call up my
provider and make a connection. When I go back to tty01 I cant telnet or
access any other network service. I keep getting no route to host
messages.

I have set up the /etc/resolv.conf file with the nameservers address. I
cant add a gateway to the routing tables because even though I have a
static IP the gateway is dynamic everytime.

The previous install went without a hitch. I didnt have to setup any
thing for ppp I just called up and it worked.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jeremy Harris
