Well, NCIT (formerly PageSat) and now bankrupt had a solution that
worked fine. The former owner of PageSat before selling off to NCIT is
trying to revive the service. I think they have a website up at
http://www.pc-sat.com although I was unable to connect to the server
just now when I tried. Financial and logistical problems still plague
the service, so use caution.

There is only one other provider that I'm aware of, and unfortunately
their name escapes me at the moment. I think it is Planet Connect in
either North or South Carolina.

This is a good question and I hope someone posts a response. Our news
box gets bogged down in disk I/O and when budget permits, we definitely
plan to upgrade it to FW SCSI or Ultra SCSI. I keep wishing that
FreeBSD would come out with support for a hardware RAID controller so
that we could employ striping. Anything to reduce the disk bottleneck.
