``A lot''? Why is ftp'ing some file a lot? (You can also get them
by mail.)

There's indeed a lot to do in order to create a CTM distribution
server (unlike CVSup, where you can basically turn every machine into
a distribution server within 5 minutes), but it's not much work for a
client.

`make world' is one possible way, but...

...it leaves a little hand-work. None of the /etc files will be
automatically touched, ever.

This leads to the funny situation that my main development machine has
never ever seen a file named /etc/sysconfig. It still runs with the
same good ol' FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 /etc/rc... and now sysconfig is gone and
has been replaced by /etc/rc.conf. :-)
