Is it possible to access cdrom-drives connected to an sb16 (ide3-port) with FreeBSD 2.2.1? Under linux I must tell the kernel the following parameters to initialize and access my cdrom-drives: "ide3=0x168,0x36e,10 hdg=cdrom hdh=cdrom" What are the appropriate parameters under FreeBSD? Thanks in advance, Thomas Bekel tbekel@hrz.uni-bielefeld.de ps. I think ide3 means the 4th controller, because the first is ide0... This s**ks really, my next box will be SCSI only... :-)
