I need to use mtools to transfer data back and forth between MS-DOG and
FreeBSD disk partitions on a couple of systems. However, when I try to use
a mtools routine like mdir I get the following error message:

Cannot open /dev/sd0s1: Device not configured.

The drives in question are 2.0 and 2.6 gig EIDE drives split equally
between MS-DOG and FreeBSD 2.2.1.

I already trashed one file system using mount -tmsdos. Any ideas?

TIA,
Alan Bindemann
