Is this exactly the same machine where you had 2.1.7.1 installed
before ? So to say, is is really FBSD 2.2.2, that is causing
problems ? Here at my site the new SCSI driver changes brought
absolutely stableness with the ahc driver, which had problems in
early FreeBSD 2.2 versions.

What about correct termination ? Could you please send a detailed
problem report using send-pr or the frontend on the FreeBSD Web
server ?!
