The machine is in a tempature controled room, I can't remeber what the temp is in the room. I don't have a case on the machine since there are so many drives in it. There could be an airflow problem, but the sd0 drive is not too hot, when I touch it. sd4 is extermly hot to the touch. They are stacked in this order sd4 sd3 sd2 sd1 sd0 And yes there is space between the drives :) although its not much space. I am going to get a fan to blow some air between the drives to see if this will solve the problem. > > >I also have this message in my dmesg's > >bha0: warning, interrupts not working, using polling > > (Buslogic has PROM upgrades for some of these controllers.) > -- I'll take a look at their ftp site. I have the same controller in other machines (which only use one drive) and I don't seem to have this problem with the controllers. matt ------------------------------------------------------ casper@hostile.net hostile networks ------------------------------------------------------
