Hi,

For years I've used netgroups (YP) in the /etc/hosts.equiv and .rhosts
files of our systems (mostly Sun). Now, I'm trying to do the same
with a FreeBSD 2.2.1 box, but rlogins from any system listed
in the netgroups ask for password. However, if I include a name
(not a netgroup) in hosts.equiv, it works.

For example, I have an YP netgroup called "trusted", which contains
something like
	(host1,-,) (host2,-,) (host3,-,) ....

I add to /etc/hosts.equiv in the FreeBSD box the following line:
	+@trusted

But any rlogin from host1, host2... asks for a password. The same
configuration works fine for our Sun workstations.

It seems that FreeBSD makes some type of netgroup lookup that
doesn't get the answer expected.

Anyone know a solution for this problem?

Thanks,
--JM
