Forgot to mention that I have tried with a fresh floppy a couple= > of times. > = > kind regards, > ask (ask@plys.net) I had this same sort of problem with a 2.2.<I forget> boot floppy. when I looked in windoze, I saw there were so many bad sectors that the file was bigger than the "good" sectors on the floppy. I assume by the name that rawwrite does not verify the writes it makes. Make sure your floppy has enough verified media space to fit the file and try again. I've seen whole batches of floppies to Fireballs go bad, so trying another floppy from the same batch may give the same problem. <shrug>
