I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.2.2 on a ASUS TP4N motherboard with a
Pentium 100.
When booting from the floppy, it gets past the device detection stage
and then
hangs at the following point:

changing root device to fd0c
panic: double fault

syncing disks...

at this point the machine is locked and requires a hard reset.

Any Ideas on what may be causing this? This machine has previously run
2.2.0 without a problem.

Thanks,

Dave DeLaune
