Thank you for your, response.  After seeing the development of this thread
I felt that I should also contribute.  Currently I am running Linux.  I
have no great attachment to it.  I could just as easily have picked 386BSD.
The reason I didn't was that in the weeks that I had been watching the net
before deciding between the two operating systems, I never saw a FAQ or
any other posting which described how to obtain 386BSD.  On the other
hand, the volume of information regarding Linux in the newsgroups is
almost deafening.

I don't know which is better for what purposes.  Perhaps we could see
more periodic postings from you and the other developers of 386BSD.

The other good way to pass information and reduce ftp traffic is the
formation of user's groups.  Is there a Linux and/or 386BSD user's
group in the Silicon Valley area.  If not I'd gladly organize them.  It 
would probably be inappropriate for me to run a 386BSD user's group since
I don't currently use it, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
