Networking, internetworking, X, everything is fine. There is only ONE question: the FreeBSD box is connected to a virtual domain with machines running Linux, SCO ODT, UnixWare, Minix ans SunOs. When I run X applications on the FreeBSD box over the net from an Linux machine the output is very slow. Example: xcept (german btx) over the net from a Linux machine seems to use a 2400 modem, but in fact an ISDN card with 64kb is installed. This only happens form FreeBSD to Linux. All other OS work faster. In the direction Linux ---> FreeBSD speed is OK. Any ideas ? thx berni -- ----------------------------------------------------------- | Please respond to: Bernhard.Ernst@giessen.netsurf.de | | or: berni@troia.rhein-neckar.de | | and to nothing else ! | -----------------------------------------------------------
