The Jaz cart was formatted under BSDI's default settings (4.2BSD f/s I believe). I assumed that FreeBSD would be able to handle mounting it. While I happened to have had everything else useful backed up elsewhere, I *really need* to get at this cart so my users can have all their stored email. : ) If anyone has an idea how to do this, please email brent@cha.vivid.net. The address associated with the news post goes to the machine in question, which is currently offline, so please don't use it. The best I've gotten so far with a mount command is "invalid super block" and "cant mount, must run fsck first." I'm afraid fsck will kill the data, so I don't even want to try it unless I can't get at it any other way. Thanks Brent Wiese
