No trick, it just doesn't work. :-)

Only the Pro 100B cards are supported and I'd feel sort of bad about
this if it weren't for the fact that it *does* clearly state the need
for the B revision in several places. ;-)  You really need the B - I
don't think that there will ever be support for the earlier revision.
