It (installer) said that because it was installing on a disk that was not the boot disk that it would later on write out the freebsd boot manager thingy on the main boot disk. Unfortunately, it seems to have forgotten that step. I need to know how to just install the boot manager on my main boot disk (or how to convince the NT Boot Manager to boot FreeBSD). The main boot disk boots into the NT Boot Manager and allows (currently) selection of WNT or W95. Aside: I can tell the PC to boot from D or whatever in the BIOS setup and then the FreeBSD boot comes up but it cannot mount root as the D drive seems to now be the 0 drive instead of wd2 like it was on install... Thanks for help Chad
