I've been running a cacheing proxy (Squid 1.1.10) for some time now,
initially on 2.1.7.1 and lately on 2.2.2 and it is quite stable. The
2.1.7 and 2.2.1 releases were DEFINITELY NOT stable with this device
however!!!

Subsequently, I've setup a system to allow cvsup'ing the 2_2_RELENG
branch and I've seen even a few more updates to the AHC driver from the
2.2.2-RELEASE sources. Havn't tried building and installing a new
kernel on the proxy machine tho so it's still running 2.2.2-R ...
