    Here are some hard numbers for us too.. we have two machines that are
    running at the load level shown below, and a third that is running
    at about three quarters of that, and then four to six more machines
    that are running at about the quarter of the disk loads shown below.

OS Configuration:  shit, all the machines have been up too long :-) Even dmesg
doesn't have the boot info any more.  Let me find one that I've rebooted 
recently (they are all running the same tree and same type of disks, controllers,
