If you have Internet FTP access, fetch the latest version of the "Arthur Olson" time zone data from "elsie.nci.nih.gov", in the file "pub/tzdata1997f.tar.gz", and run, as "root", "zic" on the "asia" file; it will update the Sri Lanka time zone file (the setting for which is "Asia/Colombo") to reflect the change that was made, according to the comments in the latest "asia" file, at 1996-10-26 00:30. -- Reply, or follow up, but don't do both, please. postmaster@localhost postmaster@127.0.0.1
