I've just set up : ssh - a secure shell (from the ports) after about 100 suggestions : from freebsd-hackers :I .... it's pretty cool. Works on the same : basis as PGP. You can do everything that rlogin/rsh/rcp can do, : only over an encrypted link. I believe rlogin also passes some terminal information that telnet does not. Over the years, I've had problems with terminal settings when connecting, say, from a bsd box to a solaris box. If I use rlogin, everything works as it should.
