I have two questions. I need to learn how to setup quotas on a BSDI 2.1
system, both hard and soft quotas. I would like to allow users 10 meg,
but allow that to stretch to 15 or 20, but email them when they get that
high. I understand that this can be done, but I havn't quite figured that
out yet. Please explain this in laymans terms, I'm very new to Unix in
general.

Second question is: I recently was sent a patch to stop my NE2000 NIC
from hanging on bootup, but I have no idea how to install the patch on my
server. Can someone guide me through this? I understand that my kernel
needs to be rebuilt as well? How do I do that?

Thanks a ton for your answers!!! I'll be checking the groups, or if you
could email me at paul@compserv.net or paul@eggshell.compserv.net.
