I'm having a ploblem installing netbsd 1.2 (x86). Everytime I try to
install via floppies, I get a ton of timeout and softread errors, which
eventually lead up to a install error adn corrupted files. I've tried many
sets of floppies and even tried two different drives (Teac and Mitsumi)
with no luck. The kernel floppy doesn't do this but the filesystem floppy
does and all DOS fommated floppies with the split distribution on them do
it. I am really stumped. No other OS that I've installed does the same
thing. FreeBSD, Linux, and SCO have had no problems (of course, the only
floppy in SCO was the boot one) Nevertheless, It it really bugging me. Any
input is greatly appreciated.
