I was doing this from memory. The message was Error: Cannot perform realloc I am using FreeBSD 2.2.1 and xperfmon++ both off the Walnut Creek 2.2.1 CDROM. I did not do a kernel rebuild after installing, but I'm going to give this a try. I also tried the xperfmon++ RPM under Linux and it's solid as a rock (for what that's worth).
