As I understand it, there is not. Jeffrey Hsu says he gave his patches for 1.02 to "someone" who is working on 1.1, but didn't recall who that person was (perhaps he reads this newsgroup?) Also, someone else posted in this group that he had some success running the linux port of the jdk available at java.blackdown.org. He did not comment on how robust it was (one good test would be whether it can run HotJava). Personally, I'm not too thrilled with the linux port (I've clocked it at >5x slower than sol/x86) and the lack of freebsd port... so I'm seriously contemplating switching over to solaris/x86 on my desktop =(. --sf
