I don't know enough about FreeBSD (I'm a new user) to investigate this, but, I get exactly the problem described above when I try to run xperfmon++. I can attempt to investigate it if someone wants to give me suggestions on how to investigate. I tried running it under gdb, and when it died after a few seconds, with the above error, gdb said: "Program exited with code 01". Then, when I typed "where", gdb said: "No stack." hmm. -- Hugh LaMaster, M/S 258-5, ASCII Email: hlamaster@mail.arc.nasa.gov NASA Ames Research Center Or: lamaster@nas.nasa.gov Moffett Field, CA 94035-1000 No Junkmail: USC 18 section 2701 Phone: 415/604-1056 Disclaimer: Unofficial, personal *opinion*.
