2.2.2 added login.conf support. There is a 'news' login class defined in the 
distributed login.conf. However, the 'news' login class did not make into the 
distributed 'master.passwd'. If you did not add that manually, I believe the 
default user datasize limit is only either 8m or 16m, which probably too low 
for some of the jobs groups.
