I don't think the FreeBSD 2.2.2 libgnumalloc will do anything for you. The only thing in the library as supplied w/ FreeBSD is cfree() which simply calls free(). Linking w/ libgnumalloc() uses the standard FreeBSD malloc routines. Perhaps you need more ram and/or swap? -- Frank MacLachlan (fpm@n2.net) N2 Networking, San Diego, CA
