Hi,

We installed a FreeBSD 2.1.5 without networking (because we had no card
at that time), and now we plugged in an Etherexpress Pro/10+ ISA Lan
Adapter. We installed it on various addresses, IRQ's (chaged accordingly
in FreeBSD Config), but the system simply does not recognize the board.
It keeps saying "ix0 - not found at 0x300".

Could it be that this board is not supported? It can't be a conflict,
the machine is quite empty (it's a Compaq ProLinea 4-66 with only an
Adaptec Controller), and moreover, we tried more IRQ/base address
combinations.

Another question is what does the Memory address means (which in the
config utility is given as 0xD000 and 0x800 long)?

Thanks for any ideas,

Lix
