I'm in the process of testing the ability to boot the kernal. I've downloaded the Booter 1.95 and the netbsd kernal 1.21. As far as I can tell, I've followed the instructions in the FAQ (monochrome, turning other extensions off, installing Mode32, etc) for testing. However, when try the boot sequence, I'm getting a warning that "the kernal is in an improper format". Just to make sure, I downloaded the kernal again, making sure that I did the transfer as binary, but it didn't seem to have an effect. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Please respond via email.
