Subject: Royal & Zenon EISA-VLB-SCSI2 with Unices??

I just got the Feb 1993 _Computer Shopper_ and am drooling to no end due to
desire and anxiety :} Specificaly, does anyone have any experience (good
or bad) with Zenon Computers and Royal Computers? Both offer the EISA-VLB
with proprietary SCSI-2 VLB boards and the Orchid Farenheit (S3) VLB boards.

Anyone know which video protocol (S3, ET4000, other) ZENON "Titan" video
card uses?

My main concern is support/compatibility with Unices such as BSDi, 386BSD,
Linux, and Xfree. I sure that the DOS/Windows stuff will run under the
vendor's drivers (humor me, ok? :). I've heard that Xfree now supports S3
which takes care of Linux and 386BSD, but what about BSDi?

Thanks to all.
