I did this and had no problems copying an existing set of HDB setup info (Dialers, Devices, Systems, etc...) to quickly get uucp up and running. Although the Taylor setup/info files allow finer tayloring (no pun intended) of several parameters, I found that I don't have the inclination to learn another mechanism for uucp setup - or perhaps I'm just too lazy. If you have any problems re-building Taylor-UUCP for HDB mode, let me know and I can mail you a tar-file full of stuff to help you build. - Dave Rivers - (rivers@ponds.uucp (home)) (sastdr@unx.sas.com (work)) -- UPDATE ALL INFORMATION AND POD INTO COSMOS - Federal Express
