Hi,

I tried to install NetBSD 1.2 on my 486DX PC with 32M ram and a Quantum
fireball SCSI (geometry reports by NetBSD is 3658cyl 4 heads 97sec) on
sd1 (sd0 is a segate U SCSI disk with Win95 on it). I use an adaptec
2940 Ultra SCSI controller.
When I use pfdisk in window, it reports a geometry of 698 64 32 (which I
don't think is right anyway since I don't think my disk has 64 heads per
cycl) Anyway after I copy the kernel and reboot, it went into an
infinite reboot sequence. I could find a solution in the faq.

Any advice?

Thanks.
