It does not help to think in one unix-flavour only. That is why i choosed to post to several newsgroups. COMPUTER ACRONYM isn't what is useful either, because then the whole thing is going to be a never ending subject. It is difficult enough to get the topic again now, so i think, UNIX ACRONYM INDEX is better for the cgi-script. I wrote that i trembled when writing the first post about collecting a list, because i felt this would cause huge traffic. and it did. I am very happy that so many people seem to be interested in the whole subject because this way the goal of getting more entries in a list can be achieved more easily. For me the goal would be achieved if we had something like the 4 parts in ftp://rcs1.urz.tu-dresden.de/pub/soft/unix/comp.sources.misc/volume32/acronyms, but very specific for unix -related stuff only. I hope this *back to the topic* does help! -- Matthias (this message came from Hamburg/Germany) wwwwwwwww email-alias: kopf@rrz.uni-hamburg.de wwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
