Well, the Linux version of Vibe uses linux pthreads. I don't think 
the FreeBSD linux emulation handles this currently (but I could
be wrong). We haven't tried running the Linux version under any
FreeBSD version emulation, so I'm not quite sure. 
I think the Linux version is still available for evaluation, so give
it a whirl, and see whether it runs under FreeBSD.
